Nathan Woodruff
Nathan Woodruff began working with Thompson & Associates' predecessor firm Thompson Lambert LLP in November, 2002 during his final year of engineering. He received both a BSc (Engineering Physics) with distinction and an LLB from the University of Alberta. Nathan is a lawyer and a registered patent agent. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.

Katrina Williams began working with Thompson Woodruff in August, 2013. Katrina registered as a Trademark Agent in March, 2016, and registered as a Patent Agent in August, 2017. Katrina is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. She received a B.Sc. in Integrated Science from Carleton University, and a M.Sc. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Applied Mathematics from the University of British Columbia. Her academic research included examining predictors of success in undergraduate mathematics courses, as well as developing statistical and diffusion models to explore post-harvest spoilage of apples due to pathogen spread. Katrina also completed the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences International Graduate Training Centre Program in Mathematical Biology.
